Working Man

"Working Man" is a watercolor painting 20 x 17. I was inspired to paint this man working because he represents what was once the jobs that made the USA what it is today. Jobs like this are slowly being out sourced to other countries. It is a tribute to all of the men that made their living the hard way. " Day Job" is a companion piece.

Marilyn,

Bravo for your concept that led you to paint these two fabulous paintings! The shading you gave the seams he is cutting on the Working Man does define better now that he is using a cutting torch.

My one question would be that you surely cannot mean the prices you state on your blog are for the originals of these? I would assume that would be the price for your good giclees in those sizes, but if it is for the originals then the art market in your area is worse even than here in Arizona!

These are wonderful paintings and deserve selection in any show for quality work.
