Jamaica Man FINAL

I think this is finished. I am going to put it aside for a day or two and see if I still feel it is done. I am happy with this. I got the flu and needed to get some rest, so I lost my momentum. I may choose to do another version of "Skip" at a later time. I would simplify my drawing next time. This painting is 22 x 30, so it was quite an accomplishment.

I like this every time I see it. It glows and also shows the heat of a hot Jamaican day. The modeling of his legs and arms are very well done. Beautiful!

I love it! This is the first time I've seen a blog like this showing the progression of a painting as such. (maybe I'm sheltered, lol) I'll continue to check out your blogs from now on.

This is wonderful, Marilyn! And I'm even more impressed knowing that it's a full sheet. Wow!
