--All of the paintings are copyright by me, the artist, and may not be used for any purpose.-- I am a watercolor artist living in the Midwest. I have been in National, State and local jury art shows. My paintings are in collections around the world. I enjoy the transparency and luminosity of watercolor. I like color, bright and vivid with light and shadows. Some of my paintings are from my imagination, reminding me of something I have seen or felt.

Marilyn, this is an excellent first acrylic painting! I want to try them too someday. Nice job!
It looks like a success to me! I love all those different planes of the furniture you got in there and also the figures are well-done. Nice feeling with this one, Marilyn!
I am passing on this "Passion for Painting" blog award to you, because your work has been an inspiration. As part of the award, you are asked to link back to me, pass the award on to 7 other bloggers, and list 7 things you love.
It is up to you if you wish to participate, and I won't be offended if you opt not to participate. It won't change my appreciation of your work or my reasons for selecting you (see my blog www.mhwatercolornotes.blogspot.com). You may have received similar awards in the past, and I know that participating takes a bit of time which for many of us is in short supply. Either way, many thanks for your passion, inspiration, and encouragement.
