Red Zinnia

"Red Zinnia" is a 10 x 20 watercolor painting. Painting reds in watercolor has continue to challenge me. Retaining the transparency while obtaining the deep brilliant color is difficult for me. I finally have the brilliancy of the reds, but sacrificed some of the transparency. I will continue to strife to obtain both in future paintings of red. SOLD
